Creating fictional characters who actually simulate demographics, environment, culture and needs of a real user helps to understand the end user and designing in their direction. The more specific we are, the better we can understand the different scenarios of a user using our product.

Creating user journeys is crucial to understand how the users are going to interact with the product in order to complete a specific task. Simulating all the steps they would take from the start to the end of the task helps to understand how smooth the experience is and to spot any blockage or pain point.
